Sandi Colón

Sandi Colón Discipleship Pastor

Sandi was born in New Hampshire but raised in the Bay Area.  Sharing an interest in music with her brothers, she played keyboards for their rock band doing her first show in Junior High.  After playing schools and parties through High School, the band made a jump into the local night club scene.  Around this time she met her husband, Rob.  Their dating life was a wild ride and by the end of 1989 Sandi hit a low point and realized she needed a change.  She puts it this way, “I was at home, sick with mono, had been laid off from work, dumped by my boyfriend, kicked out of my band, my dog died, my brother was diagnosed with cancer, and we had a major earthquake.  It sounds like a bad country song, but it was true!  I looked at my life and thought ‘Wow, I don’t have anything that can’t be taken from me in a moment.’  That’s when I realized I needed God.  He would be the one thing I could never lose.”

Andy Lee

Andy Lee Youth Pastor

During my junior year of high school, I became a serious Adventist Christian. This was a good time because I shared my first testimony, got into praise music, and experienced the Holy Spirit for the first time. High school will always be a special period in my life because of what Christ did for me throughout that time. Ever since I left high school, I never felt like I left. So, I guess you can say that it wasn’t until I left secondary education God wanted me back to the place where I was most on fire for Him.
