The Young Professionals are one of the most active small groups at Sunnyvale SDA. The group welcomes Bay Area young professionals between the ages of 25-40 who are looking for a supportive spiritual and social community. The group is composed of three areas of focus each with its own leader and activities: social, spiritual, and service. On average, the group plans one social and service activity per month. The spiritual component of the group consists of a discussion-based class that meets at the church every Saturday at 10:45 am in the Fireside room. Past activities include-guest speakers, feeding the homeless, camping, dinners out, beach bonfires, potlucks, BBQs, hikes, bocce ball, and bike rides.

Group News

As of August, the YP group underwent a change in leadership. Melanee Grondahl stepped down as leader and is on to other exciting plans. The new leader is Nathania Choi. You can email her at nathchoi@gmail.com. Nathania has some exciting plans in store for the YP, but as always, nothing is fun without "you"! 

Social -The YP are going to have a camp-out at Mt. Madonna. This is scheduled for August 24th to the 26th. For those who are attending, I will be sending out an email probably on Sunday or Monday outlining all the details. If you are NOT attending and you WANT to, please email us!
Our Midweek dine-outs will resume starting on the first week of September. Stay tuned for more details.
